Job Title: Clinical Nutrition Specialist

The AdventHealth team seeks a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join their esteemed healthcare institution.

This role involves utilizing the nutrition care process to screen, assess, diagnose, offer nutrition intervention, and monitor the nutrition status and progress of patients.

  • Patient Care: The registered dietitian will utilize the nutrition care process to deliver comprehensive care to patients with disease processes that require nutritional management.
  • Nutrition Counseling: Provides evidence-based counseling and education to patients, reflecting appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Orders and Recommendations: Offers nutrition recommendations and orders as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A current active registered dietitian status with Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • A current active licensed status in the state in which they practice
  • A bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field, along with 3 years of clinical experience, or a graduate degree in nutrition or a related field, along with 1 year of clinical experience

Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary of $83,250 per annum, in addition to a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a $3,000 relocation bonus.

Work Environment: Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America.
