Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at Silveira Behavior Consultants. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering ABA therapy to individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format, accurately implementing skill acquisition programs and individual treatment plans.
  • Implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans, collecting data into a data collection system.
  • Generate and maintain accurate billing and clinical documentation, collaborating with the client family and related professionals as needed.
  • Uphold company policies and standards of conduct, implementing ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain Private Health Information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training, as well as commit to continue learning and performance improvement.
Qualifications
  • Possess an active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), highly preferred but not required.
  • Have at least 1-year experience in working in ABA with children with autism and/or related developmental disabilities, required.
  • Be pursuing (with at least 2 years completed) and/or hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, highly preferred but not required.
