MEDICATION TECHNICIAN - Up to Competitive Rate
Core Duties:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
- Ensure timely administration of medications to residents.
- Assist with lifting and transferring residents as necessary.
- Support meal preparation and service, monitoring changes in residents' eating habits.
- Document and report any changes in residents' health or ability to perform daily tasks.
- Monitor vital signs and follow up on personal care schedules.
- Report any incidents or accidents involving residents immediately.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and resident requests for assistance.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a caregiving role.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medication Technician preferred.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- Ability to perform household tasks and meal preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and positive demeanor.
- Physical stamina to meet job demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
