About the Role

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Exploitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities in our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exploitation Planning: Develop and implement exploitation plans to identify and exploit potential vulnerabilities in our network infrastructure.
  • Network Defense: Collaborate with our team to develop and implement mitigations to strengthen our network defenses and protect against cyber threats.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in networking protocols and architectures, cloud security, Internet of Things protocols, and advanced network security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise.
  • Analysis and Insights: Apply analytical thinking to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, and query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights.
  • Reporting and Communication: Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Clearance: Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph.
  • Education: Degree in a technical field (e.g., Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, IT, or Information Systems, Networking and Telecommunications, etc.). 18 semester hours of military training/ coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.
  • Administration: Must have experience in network or system administration.
  • Certifications: Network+, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Cisco Certified Network Associate or similar certifications preferred.
