Position Summary


The Cyber Exploitation Analyst will work collaboratively to pinpoint access and collection deficiencies that can be addressed through cyber collection and preparation initiatives.

Utilizes all sanctioned resources and analytical methodologies to infiltrate targeted networks.

Key Responsibilities
Assess data for emerging or ongoing opportunities.
Convey intricate information concepts or ideas in a confident and organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
Identify and articulate target vulnerabilities and techniques/methods for executing technical exploitation of the target.
Evaluate, analyze, and synthesize extensive data into high-quality, integrated targeting/intelligence outputs.
Enhance network access by performing target analysis and collection to discover targets of interest.
Analyze intelligence data, technical information, and exploitation prospects.
Develop comprehensive strategies to establish and maintain accesses, conduct remote exploitation, and provide technical support.
Exhibit the capability to comprehend and interpret technical data through knowledge of technologies and network architectures.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills:
Required experience may encompass, but is not limited to, the following:

Proficiency in computer networking principles and protocols along with network security practices.
Comprehension of cyber-attack phases.
Familiarity with attack methods and techniques (DDoS, brute force, spoofing, etc.).
Understanding of the principles governing collection development processes.
Knowledge of collection searching/analyzing techniques and tools for chat/buddy lists, VOIP, Media Over IP, VPN, VSAT/wireless, web mail, and cookies.
Awareness of operating systems and data communications terminology.
Understanding of client organization, information requirements, objectives, structure, and capabilities.
A minimum of (see specific level) years of experience executing EA responsibilities.

  • Level 1: Bachelor's degree +2 years; Associate's degree +4 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 2: Bachelor's degree +5 years; Master's degree +3 years; Doctoral degree +2 years; Associate's degree +7 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree +8 years; Master's degree +6 years; Doctoral degree +4 years; Associate's degree +10 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 4: Bachelor's degree +11 years; Master's degree +9 years; Doctoral degree +7 years; Associate's degree +13 years of relevant experience.
*Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Additionally, experience in network or system administration is required.
