Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and operational audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

  • Support the implementation of new control requirements and maintain relationships with government agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls dashboards and CAP completion verifications.
  • Apply and analyze accounting principles on contracts, costs, processes, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 4 years of experience in auditing, financial controls, and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of US Government Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and GAAP/IFRS/US SOX is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Big four Accounting firm experience a plus.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
  • Department of Defense experience.
  • Internal auditing experience preferred.
