Senior Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Federal Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading design teams on medium-sized projects of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design teams to produce high-quality design and construction documents.
• Review and analyze project requirements and codes to ensure compliance.
• Interface with client teams, consultants, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Drive design teams to produce required design and construction documents.
• Be a technical resource to younger team members.
• Coordinate and report to your Sr. Manager/Lead Architect.
• Work towards licensure as an Architect (if not licensed already).
• Participate in departmental and corporate initiatives and tasks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited US university.
• 12 years of US experience in the field of Architecture.
• US Citizen or US Person (Green Card).
• High level of Revit/CAD proficiency for CD production.
• Team player with leadership qualities.
• Note: Candidates hired for Kingsport, TN must have licensure as an Architect.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to analyze codes and standards.
• High level of Revit proficiency.
• Ability to lead small to medium-sized design teams.
• Ability to take a project from inception to completion.
• Ability to work as part of a team in various positions.
