Job Summary

A seasoned litigation paralegal with a proven track record of supporting complex litigation, investigation, and arbitration matters in top-tier law firms. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior paralegals and attorneys to manage litigation case files, including document management, case calendaring, and discovery support.
  • Oversee the tasks of junior paralegals and support staff as needed, ensuring seamless case execution.
  • Coordinate with external entities, such as courts, government agencies, and expert witnesses, to facilitate case activities.
  • Draft, review, and analyze routine legal documents, and conduct research under attorney supervision.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to refine skills and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Adhere to firm policies, practices, and priorities, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential firm and client information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a paralegal certificate a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in an Amlaw 100 firm or similar specialized litigation firm.
  • Proven experience with all stages of litigation, including e-discovery, e-filing, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines typical of complex litigation matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of cite-checking, Bluebook rules, and California Style Manual a plus.
  • Availability for overtime work and reasonable business travel as needed.
