Job Summary

Capitol Chevrolet is looking for a seasoned Dealership Financial Director to oversee and manage the financial aspects of the dealership. This role will be responsible for overseeing financing for vehicle purchases, developing relationships with lenders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to offer competitive financing options to customers.
  • Present financing options to customers and assist with securing loans for vehicle purchases.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient sales transactions and maximize profit opportunities.
  • Manage the dealership's overall finance department operations, including preparing and reviewing financial documents.
  • Evaluate credit applications and assess the financial situation of customers.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle financing and lending.
  • Provide expert advice on available warranty options and aftermarket products.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the financing process, ensuring a positive buying experience.
  • Monitor financial metrics and report on performance to dealership leadership.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Dealership Financial Director or in a similar financial role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive finance, including financing, leasing, and insurance options.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle financing.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Automotive sales experience is a plus.
  • Certification or licensing as required by state regulations.
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
