{"Job Title: Senior Engineer Job Summary: Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to support the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise professional and paraprofessional engineering personnel, including Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and Technologists. * Oversee daily activities and assignments of staff. * Aid in formulation of overall department objectives, policies, plans, and programs. * Analyze and resolve work problems and assist employees in solving work problems. * Assist in administration of personnel functions, including selection and placement of personnel, performance evaluations, promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary action, training, and development. * Maintain working knowledge and capability to correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks of the supervised staff. * Submit cost reduction proposals, investigate proposals from other sources, compile appropriate information, make recommendations for action, and check on results obtained. * Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, quality of product or service, and suggest changes to increase efficiency. * Supervise assembly of cost control and statistical data. * The Engineer has considerable experience in providing highly specialized applications and operational analysis. * Experience in planning and supporting network and computing infrastructure. * Has knowledge in networking technologies. * Is cognizant, knowledgeable, and contributes to all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required. * 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. * Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. Compensation: * Hiring salary range: $75,000 - $275,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.). * Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
