Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling options available Providers will have one extended day shift, with patient care hours from 8 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with the first appointment at 8 AM and the last appointment concluding at 4:30 PM. **Schedules are arranged to meet the requirement of 36 hours per week.**
On-Call Duties:
- On-call responsibilities are shared among all providers within the family medicine practices. A professional call service is available after hours for triage. If the service cannot resolve the issue, it will be escalated to the on-call provider. The current rotation allows for approximately 3-4 weeks of coverage annually.
Clinical Expertise: Provides primary health care and performs selected medical services under the guidance of practice physicians.
- Gathers comprehensive medical histories and physical assessments of patients.
- Reviews and evaluates patient records.
- Interprets and synthesizes data to determine suitable diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Conducts thorough physical examinations and documents findings.
- Establishes preliminary diagnoses.
- Orders necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Conducts independent evaluations and treatment in emergency situations.
- Ensures continuity of care between physician visits.
Additional Responsibilities: The incumbent may be required to undertake further duties as assigned.
- Daily Responsibilities of the Provider:

Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to successfully complete both generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessments. Strong collaboration skills with management and physicians; demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

This role necessitates constant standing, frequent walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to write legibly are required. The ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs is necessary. For any weight exceeding 35 lbs., Safe Handling Equipment must be utilized.
