Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our Support and Services at Home (SASH) team in Providence, RI. As a key member of our team, you will provide whole-person, trauma-informed care coordination and support to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual therapeutic support in-person, by phone, and through telehealth
- Assess, screen, and triage services to identify unaddressed needs and connect individuals with community resources
- Collaborate with the SASH team to coordinate care and develop educational programs on mental health, aging, and emotional wellness
- Facilitate on-site educational and support groups to promote emotional wellness
- Contribute to the assessment and provision of effective, equitable, and respectful quality care and services
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or closely related field
- Experience in trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and working with older adults
- Knowledge of neurodegenerative conditions and best practices in elder care
- Ability to assess, deliver, and evaluate direct service programming
