Job Summary

As a Mental Health Worker at Butler Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing patient advocacy and support services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient advocacy and support services to patients and their families
  • Assist registered nurses in direct care of patients, including activities of daily living
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation, monitoring, and interaction
  • Participate in groups and provide assistance as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • C.N.A. certification preferred
