Job Description

Job Title: Experienced Field Photographer Wanted for Fox Service Company

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Photographer to join our team at Fox Service Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering breaking news events and planned events both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover daily news events in Washington, DC
  • Participate and lead multi-camera assignments
  • Configure audio for single and multiple camera set-ups
  • Safely drive company-owned and rental vehicles
  • Handle a non-standard work schedule, including overtime and weekends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the field
  • In-depth knowledge of Sony/Panasonic ENG cameras and file workflow operations
  • Strong lighting skills and experience with long-format shoots
  • Working knowledge of field audio mixers
  • Understanding of satellite, microwave, fiber, and truck transmissions/operations
  • Proficient in mixing live remotes with IFB communications
  • Adobe Premier editing is a plus
  • Drone Pilot experience and FAA Part 107 certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of full-frame cinematic cameras is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • A clean driving record is required, CDL is a plus
  • The flexibility and speed to work in a high-stress, breaking news environment
  • Extensive travel and the ability to deploy at a moment's notice to support the demands of a 24-hour news operation
