The Role

We are seeking a positive, professional, and creative Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef at Fearless Restaurants, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management. You will also be expected to lead by example, inspiring and mentoring your team to be organized, professional, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Lead by example, inspiring and mentoring the kitchen team
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory and ordering
  • Develop and implement food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Professional demeanor and Jedi-like temperament
  • Passion for purveyor/local farmer relationships
  • Advanced knife handling skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Current ServSafe Certification or PA Food Handlers
