About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for completing all accounting-related tasks necessary to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual records reflecting the financial performance of the Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and reconcile General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of disbursement accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review financial schedules, including draw requests and WIP analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Property Accounting Supervisor and Regional Financial Manager to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum two years of accounting experience, preferably in property management.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Yardi software.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
