About the Role

The On-Call Banquet House Attendant will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our banquets and events. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items, as well as information regarding preparation methods. They will also be responsible for adhering to all banquet service and safety standards, assisting with the set-up and execution of banquet events, and performing any additional tasks as requested within the reasonable scope of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
  • Stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service, ensuring that they are in good condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
  • Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel's receiving area and store them safely and securely.
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, including AMs, PMs, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous food service or related experience, ideally in a hotel environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude that can flex to guest needs and ever-changing business environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks to the standards for both service and safety.
  • Available any and all shifts, with variable hours based on business needs.
  • Proof of authorization for work, passing of pre-employment screening, and Hep A Clearance Required post-offer.
