Supervises: Chief Accountant, Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Billing Supervisor (13)

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Establish a robust financial infrastructure with effective systems and processes to facilitate long-term scalability.
  • Evaluate business risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights that enhance financial performance.
  • Develop exemplary practices surrounding revenue optimization, budget formulation, and compliance with diverse funding and regulatory standards, ensuring a solid operational base for substantial growth.
  • Collaborate with the Fiscal department to address allocations that influence revenue and expenses for various programs.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of essential financial reports.
  • Enhance financial reporting mechanisms to deliver timely and relevant information to key stakeholders.
  • Lead, nurture, and develop a talented team focused on grant management.
  • Prepare interim and year-end financial reports, journal entries, and cost analysis as needed.
  • Coordinate and prepare for financial audits conducted by external funders.
  • Participate in agency committees as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational objectives and meet deadlines.
