Job Overview

MacKay Sposito is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in land development and public road design, including grading design, water and sanitary sewer design, road plan and profiles, and storm drainage design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations.
  • Meet deadlines, communicate effectively with team members, and execute complex engineering activities reliably.
  • Prepare engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions of a project accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide analytical assessments of complex engineering data, such as design agreements, design calculations, and preliminary specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering, including AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and customer service skills.
