Construction Project Manager

Procon Consulting, a professional services firm with expertise in construction management, project controls, and construction-related technology, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a long-term opportunity in the Washington D.C. area. This role requires 10+ years of experience in construction management on heavy civil and waterway projects with the ability to lead a high-profile, intense project in DC.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of construction professionals in the removal of existing stone seawalls and construction of new elevated walls along historical alignments.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, architects, and engineers during all construction project phases.
- Review design document submittals, cost and schedule estimates, and collect, prepare, and report programmatic information.
- Estimate and cost verification reviews, and analyze all relevant project-related information.
- Communicate project status and issues effectively in writing and verbally.
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in the role as a lead construction project manager in federal and/or private sector heavy civil, concrete, waterway construction projects.
- Experience with project management principles, CPM scheduling, communication skills, and leadership skills.
- PE, CCM, or PMP certification.
- Experience in the role of owner's representative on capital construction projects.
- Experience in the use of industry project management software.
