In this role, you will play a crucial part in championing the rights of WWP Alumni and their families, particularly in navigating the complexities of benefits appeals with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compose decisions for evaluation by a Veterans Law Judge (VLJ).
  • Oversee appeals dockets and develop comprehensive appellate briefs.
  • Engage in research and offer assistance to WWP's policy and governmental affairs division.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of Veterans benefits legislation and regulations.
  • Exceptional research and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional Experience:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years in a veteran's benefits advocacy role.
