Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Member Service Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing member transactions, and promoting Credit Union products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process member transactions via phone, mail, email, fax, and online services, including loan payments, account transfers, and address changes.
  2. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions such as direct deposits, Debit/ATM cards, CD/IRA/Money Markets.
  3. Analyze member relationships to optimize existing products and services and deepen relationships by cross-selling relevant products and services.
  4. Conduct prospecting, including outbound calls and emails as needed, to meet established sales goals.
  5. Perform other member services and administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in member service, operations, and/or lending.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, and ability to sell them.
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • PC proficient, including Microsoft Office and the Internet.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome.
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information.
