Patient Care Assistant Manager

Nuvance Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Assistant Manager to join our ICU team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Patient Care Manager in the implementation and monitoring of the patient care delivery system and related nursing practice standards.
Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and evaluating nursing practice standards, supervising personnel, and facilitating optimal patient care through the appropriate use of resources. You will also provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to nursing staff, and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Requirements include a BSN or advanced degree in nursing, 2 years of relevant clinical experience, and 1 year of leadership experience or demonstrated leadership skills. Nursing certification in leadership or a related specialty is preferred. Membership in a healthcare or nursing professional organization is also desirable.
