We are looking for an enthusiastic recruiter who excels in networking and possesses the creativity to engage effectively with healthcare professionals, particularly those involved in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and related sectors.
Location:
This position is situated in the Central Coast region of California, with a preference for candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Monterey.
Essential Duties:
- Facilitate internal career development pathways between ground and air transportation units.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local fire departments.
- Collaborate with management to evaluate staffing requirements and create suitable staffing strategies.
- Partner with organizations to establish effective pathways for collaboration.
- Develop relationships with educational institutions and feeder organizations to enhance community engagement and attract potential candidates.
- Promote open positions through various marketing channels.
- Exhibit strong motivation, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Travel approximately 75% of the time for educational institutions and industry-related job fairs and events.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment and selection, along with knowledge of employment law practices preferred.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly EMS, is advantageous.
- Current experience as an EMT or Paramedic is preferred.
- Experience in social media and marketing is beneficial.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License and maintain a driving record in accordance with AMR Safety & Driving policies.
