Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Cardiovascular Intervention, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Rooming patients and taking vital signs
  • Preparing and organizing exam rooms
  • Stocking and maintaining rooms with adequate supplies
  • Checking patient records for pertinent data
  • Assisting with exams, tests, and special procedures
  • Scheduling appointments and setting up for procedures
  • Assisting providers with patient exams and procedures
  • Callbacks and prescription refills
  • Prescription prior authorization
  • Inspecting exam rooms for cleanliness and equipment condition

The candidate must have:

  • At least 1-year experience in cardiac care
  • MA Certification from an accredited school
  • X-Ray Tech with BMO Certificate is preferred, but not required
  • EMR experience required
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Team player attitude and willingness to make active contributions to the team
  • Strong Computer and Typing Skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of regulations that govern Medical offices, including HIPAA and OSHA
