Key Responsibilities

  • Field patient phone calls and work toward resolving problems
  • Update all demographic and insurance information
  • Perform scheduling, medical record documentation, and clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service over the phone and in person

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Ability to type 35-40 wpm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of medical office experience
  • Previous experience with health insurance paid billing
  • Second language proficiency
  • ICD9 and CPT knowledge
