Job Summary

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team, working closely with physicians to provide accurate and timely imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the CT scan, selecting appropriate imaging techniques to ensure technical quality.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform quality assurance on CT equipment, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience.
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.
