Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Katy, Texas.
Job SummaryThis position performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans to create high-quality images of tissues and internal organs for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Performs CT scans on patients, preparing them for the procedure and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operates CT equipment, selecting the appropriate imaging techniques and ensuring the technical quality of the scan.
- Enters and monitors patient data, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Performs quality assurance on CT equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)).
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
