Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, preparing them for the procedure, explaining the process, and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Select and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring technical accuracy and patient safety.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, maintaining accurate records and communicating with healthcare teams.
  • Perform quality assurance on CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in Computed Tomography.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience.
