As a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Care | ICU | Critical Care Unit at Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital, you will be part of a dedicated team within a 120-bed acute-care facility located in the Horizon West community. Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide care for patients requiring complex assessments and therapies.
  • Utilize assessment data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays and responding to life-threatening situations.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, evaluating progress toward expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required for specific areas.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of ICU/CCU experience within the last 3 years.
