Position Overview

The Operations Management Trainee will assist in overseeing the shop management process and contribute to cost efficiency, customer loyalty, and performance metrics initiatives. This role requires collaboration across various departments including Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management. This program is dynamic and encompasses all facets of the business unit. In this position, you will gain valuable industry insights, skills, and resources to enhance your operations and fleet maintenance expertise. We empower you to shape your own career trajectory and promote from within, based on your performance. The anticipated career progression from this role is to an Operations Supervisor.

Work Environment:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Compensation: Paid Weekly

Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, and educational qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationship activities by ensuring quality interactions, proactive management, issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the rental department to maximize utilization while maintaining service for lease customers.
  • Work alongside Sales personnel on customer engagements to foster new business opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee operational costs and maintenance expenditures, ensuring adherence to policies and processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate scheduling of preventive maintenance, follow-ups on breakdowns, and updates on vehicle status; supervise technician work planning for efficiency and training.

Additional Duties

  • Relocation within the business unit upon completion of the training program is required.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution is preferred.
