Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our HVAC systems and related controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments, and installations for HVAC systems and related controls.
  • Manage Energy Management Systems: Update and manage computerized energy management systems for efficient operation of HVAC, chiller, and boiler systems.
  • Ensure Proper Functioning: Regularly calibrate and maintain temperature controls, motor drives, actuators, and fire control systems.
  • Provide Upkeep for Refrigeration Units: Maintain refrigeration units, air conditioning, freezers, and dehumidifiers.
  • Oversee Maintenance for Heating Systems: Manage maintenance for heating systems, air handlers, ductwork, pumps, and other HVAC components.
  • Service Drinking Water Coolers: Service drinking water coolers and balance airflow in air handling systems.
  • Carry Out Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance for heating systems, VAV boxes, air conditioners, boilers, and other related equipment.
  • Adhere to EPA Regulations: Handle refrigerants while adhering to EPA regulations and maintain detailed service records.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Teams: Work collaboratively with maintenance teams for prompt issue resolution.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Standards: Keep abreast of industry standards, attend training for skill enhancement, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with External Contractors: Partner with external contractors for specialized tasks.
  • Document Maintenance Work: Document all HVAC maintenance work and attend mandatory safety and training sessions.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years HVAC or related field experience
  • EPA Certification
  • Graduate from accredited Technical School of HVAC
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, components, controls, and codes
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy objects or equipment
  • Familiar with controls, computer literate, building automation systems, thermodynamics, chilled water, hot water based
