Job Summary:

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical and medical environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge, and other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of a patient-specific care plan
Participate in other activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience

Requirements:

Eligible to work in the US
Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred
Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred
