We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to address complex engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions for structural and instrumentation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve design and construction challenges by developing effective engineering solutions for installations.
- Formulate temporary engineering strategies to promptly tackle construction issues.
- Manage aircraft discrepancies, including providing rework instructions.
- Examine aircraft and engineering schematics, collaborating with various disciplines to uphold quality and operational standards.
- Design engineering modifications for Flight Test and engage with relevant stakeholders.
- Devise engineering solutions for specific structural instructions or limitations.
- Design and authorize installations for Special Missions Engineering projects.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations is essential.
- At least 10,000 hours of experience with CATIA V5.
- Expertise in CATIA V5 Workbenches, particularly in Assembly Design and Part Design.
- Familiarity with ENOVIA LCA and Teamcenter PLM is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a self-driven attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience in aircraft manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in Special Missions or aftermarket modifications is a plus.
