Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Install complex conduit configurations using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Mount electrical boxes, fixtures, and enclosures.
  • Stock and set up electrical wire carts and inventory management.
  • Pull wire through conduit and make ground connections.
  • Install wire for complex configurations and perform wiring insulation resistance checks.
  • Install and cover receptacles and switches.
  • Perform operational checks and maintain equipment.
  • Keep inventory of parts and materials in the area.

Requirements:

  • Prior electrical experience or relevant coursework is required.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Able to read a tape measure and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Trained and proficient in the National Electrical Code.
  • Required to wear personal protective gear, such as protective eyewear and steel-toed boots.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time in a standing position while installing equipment.
  • Ability to work from a ladder and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Required clarity of vision, with or without corrective lenses, for accuracy in installing components.
  • Possess a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Required to work around hazardous conditions, including extreme noise levels and electrical, automatic, and/or moving equipment.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Pass a criminal background check (going back 7 years).
  • Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
  • Complete a face-to-face interview.
