Job Title: Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team in Bossier, LA.

Job Summary:

This role involves completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators or components at customer sites with minimal direction. The successful candidate will engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, apply specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs, and complete required documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators or components at customer sites
  • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Applying specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs
  • Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets and timesheets
  • Completing training in line with skill and business requirements
Requirements:
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage experience
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision
  • Technician Level II: Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for a diesel technician at this location
Qualifications:
  • A current valid license is required for this role
  • This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
  • This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • 3 years driving experience

This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use. Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older.
