Become a key player in Apple's Silicon Engineering Group (SEG), where you will contribute to the design of the next generation of Apple's systems-on-chip (SOCs).

Our SOCs, containing billions of transistors, are integral to the functionality of renowned devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

We are in search of exceptionally talented Senior Analog Layout Engineers to aid in the advancement of Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) circuits, including SerDes, PLLs, and sensors.


As a Senior Layout Engineer, you will be instrumental in converting design ideas into silicon, working closely with circuit designers, and utilizing advanced tools.

Your responsibilities will include developing custom analog designs to enhance the performance of Apple's innovative products. In this fast-paced and creative environment, you will have abundant opportunities for learning while collaborating with skilled multidisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Senior Layout Engineers/Leads are essential in delivering Analog Mixed-Signal IP within a SOC framework. You will collaborate with teams of highly skilled professionals to create the next generation of industry-leading SOCs.

Your duties will encompass designing intricate layouts for mixed-signal and analog circuits, reviewing floorplans, and analyzing complex circuits alongside circuit designers.

You will execute comprehensive design verification processes, plan and schedule tasks, and manage critical layout trade-offs.

Understanding LVS, DRC, and ERC reports is crucial for identifying the most efficient methods to complete layouts while surpassing engineering standards and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design, with a specialization in deep sub-micron CMOS circuits and at least 2+ years in FinFET technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSEE, MSEE, CS or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Focus on Mixed-Signal and RF Integrated Circuits is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our overall compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This allows for growth as you advance in your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $117,832 and $205,500 annually, and your base pay will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the chance to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
