Cupertino, California, United States Apple Full time

Position Overview:
Weekly Hours: 40

Role Summary:

Be a part of Apple's Silicon Engineering Group (SEG) and contribute to the development of the next generation of systems-on-chip (SOCs) that power our iconic devices.

Our SOCs, with billions of transistors, are essential to the functionality of products like iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

We are looking for highly experienced Senior Analog Layout Engineers to advance the design of Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) circuits, including SerDes, PLLs, and sensors.

As a Senior Layout Engineer, you will be instrumental in converting design ideas into silicon, working closely with circuit designers, and utilizing advanced tools.

Your responsibilities will include creating custom analog designs to enhance the performance of Apple's exceptional products. In this fast-paced and innovative environment, you will have ample opportunities for learning while collaborating with talented multidisciplinary teams.

This role is ideal for a self-driven engineer who is enthusiastic about working with state-of-the-art technology.

You are eager to accelerate your career, excel in a results-driven environment, and contribute to the creation of groundbreaking Apple products.

The position involves developing future products, challenging yourself, and expanding your skill set in a vibrant, innovative workplace.
Key Responsibilities:

Senior Layout Engineers/Leads are crucial in delivering Analog Mixed-Signal IP within a SOC framework. You will collaborate with teams of highly skilled professionals to create the next generation of leading SOCs.

Your duties will encompass designing intricate layouts for mixed-signal and analog circuits, reviewing floorplans, and analyzing complex circuits alongside circuit designers.

You will execute comprehensive design verification processes, plan and schedule tasks, and manage essential layout trade-offs.

Interpreting LVS, DRC, and ERC reports is vital for identifying the most efficient path to complete the layout, surpassing engineering specifications and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design, focusing on deep sub-micron CMOS circuits, with at least 2+ years in FinFET technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSEE, MSEE, CS or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience. A focus on Mixed-Signal and RF Integrated Circuits is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This allows for progression as you grow and develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $117,832 and $205,500 annually, with your base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
