Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join Bunge North America as a skilled Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to production equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance practices to minimize equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with production associates and management to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including work orders, parts, and purchase requisitions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external visitors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in corrective action programs and processes to ensure compliance with safety and operational rules.
  • Perform welding tasks as required and work in compliance with all OSHA standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive maintenance background, including hydraulics, controls, welding, electrical, PLCs, and pneumatics.
  • Maintenance experience in boilers, refrigeration (preferably anhydrous ammonia), air compressors, electrical systems, plant fire protection systems, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance-related problems and work efficiently under stressful situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required and use a computer and associated software programs.
Work Environment:

Work is performed in a manufacturing plant, exposing you to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, dust, moving equipment, vibrations, and fumes. Work is performed around moving equipment, requiring you to be vigilant and proactive in maintaining a safe working environment.
