Position Summary:

As a Multi-Site Porter, you will embody a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence in your role. You will assist the building maintenance team and contribute to landscaping efforts to uphold the property’s standards. Your responsibilities may include general maintenance tasks such as thorough cleaning and preparing apartments for new residents, all in alignment with company protocols. Your primary objective is to maintain high quality and efficient operations.

Work Schedule:

10 hours per week

17 Unit Building

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Benefit: Discounted Unit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed cleaning of designated areas, including power washing of buildings and communal spaces.
  • Manage waste disposal by transporting trash to the designated dumpster area.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as wiping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash as necessary.
  • Prepare unit interiors for resident move-ins through thorough cleaning.
  • Assist with lighting maintenance tasks as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both the team and residents.
  • Support the mission and values of Fairgrove Property Management.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly.
  • Distribute notices and flyers to occupied units.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and identify/resolve hazards on the property.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Positive attitude with a dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Physical capability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to lift items below waist level up to 75 lbs and above waist level up to 45 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • A clean driving record is mandatory.
