Position Overview
As an Educational Support Specialist, you will collaborate with a team of educators and behavior analysts to provide essential support to students with emotional and behavioral needs. Your role will be pivotal in creating a nurturing and structured environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining classroom standards and procedures, while providing emotional and behavioral support to students.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and positive behavior support plans (PBSP) under the guidance of the lead educator.
- Support students with personal and medical needs in collaboration with health professionals.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to team objectives and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Qualifications
Education: An Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required. RBT certification is preferred or must be obtained within six months of employment.
Experience: Previous experience in a special education setting is advantageous.
