Electrical Engineering Faculty Position

The Department of Electrical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role emphasizes a commitment to excellence in teaching and research within the field of Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be expected to:
1. Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on both theoretical and practical applications.
2. Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate research projects.
3. Develop and sustain externally funded research initiatives.
4. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and professional growth activities.
5. Participate in departmental service, including advising student organizations and contributing to shared governance.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment. A strong record of teaching effectiveness and scholarly activity is essential. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Digital, Analog, and Mixed-Signal Electronics
- VLSI and Digital Electronics
- Cyber-Physical Systems, including Control Systems and Robotics
