Site Manager Job Description

COMHAR, Inc. is a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to providing health and human services that empower individuals, families, and communities to live healthier, self-determined lives. We are seeking a Site Manager to join our Developmental Intellectual Disabilities program in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with the COMHAR maintenance team and program management to ensure the home complies with all health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure that Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are teaching and providing support to build on participants' strengths.
  • Provide regular individual supervision to DSPs and offer in-house training to support their professional growth.
  • Work with Nursing and Program Specialists to ensure health maintenance follow-through and illness prevention.
  • Develop programming to ensure that consumers are living full, meaningful lives.
  • Coordinate transportation, including monitoring of vehicle modifications and ongoing training on adaptive equipment.
  • Ensure that team members are adhering to the Individual Support Plans of each participant.
  • Monitor consumer funds to ensure fiscal compliance.
  • Support medication administration by auditing MARs, conducting practicum observations, and ensuring onsite medications are current.
  • Audit documentation, including progress notes, medical documentation, and behavioral notes.
  • Complete monthly consumer summaries.
  • Partner with Program Specialists to ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation is maintained in accordance with programmatic and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that homes and participants have adequate supplies.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.
  • Support staff and consumers during off-hours via on-call responsibilities.
  • Provide emergency coverage to homes as needed.

Requirements:
  • High School plus 4 years of supervisory experience working with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities or Autism.
  • AA + 60 college credits in a Human Service discipline + 2 years of supervisory experience working directly with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities or Autism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
