We are seeking a Turf Equipment Technician to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri. The successful candidate will be an experienced mechanic with exceptional diagnostic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical skills.

The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift. The salary is competitive and based on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up equipment per manufacturer and customer specifications
  • Check fluid levels, test, and assure proper functioning of equipment
  • Safely and effectively use all service and repair tools, including hoist, welder, test equipment, pressure washer, compressors, and power tools
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of shop area
  • Effectively work within a team to meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Technical degree (2yr.) or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in diagnosing problems with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
