Role Overview: In the Supply Chain Facilities, you will play a vital role in ensuring products reach our guests swiftly and efficiently. This is a critical function within our logistics operations, impacting thousands of team members and guests globally. Opportunities exist in various areas, including Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and overall Productivity, where we continuously assess and improve our processes and technology to support our dynamic business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Training Operations Manager (TOM) to understand and implement training program content and strategies.
- Coordinate training plans for new hires in partnership with TOM and Training Specialists (TS).
- Facilitate comprehensive training sessions for Warehouse Workers (WW) and Warehouse Associates (WA), covering new hire orientation, core competencies, specialty training, and recertification.
- Deliver consistent training focused on safety as the top priority.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with team members to foster an inclusive environment.
- Support the onboarding and retention of new hires and peers.
- Monitor and assess progress to ensure proficiency in job functions.
Your primary focus will be on training and demonstrating WW or WA job functions, while also fulfilling productive roles as needed to maintain skills and support business operations. This includes safely handling products within the warehouse, utilizing safe lifting techniques, and operating powered equipment as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate all power equipment and warehouse technology safely.
- Capable of lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs. regularly, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Frequent movement throughout the site, potentially for up to 10-12 hours per shift.
- Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments.
- Access to all areas of the Distribution Center, including conveyor crossovers and mezzanine platforms.
Candidate Profile:
- 1+ years of experience in distribution or training, with a preference for employee training experience.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and as part of a team.
- Comprehend verbal, written, and visual communication effectively.
- Possess basic math skills for accurate task execution.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Adapt to changing priorities with minimal notice.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules to support training needs across multiple shifts.
- Effectively convey messages and verify understanding among team members.
