Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker III to join our team. As a Social Worker III, you will be responsible for providing direct casework and related services for a full range of cases coming within the scope of our social work program. You will make independent analysis of client situations, make reasoned conclusions as to preferred courses of action, and provide necessary services and treatment. You will also prepare case records and reports, and perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop and implement treatment plans for clients
  • Provide direct casework and related services for a full range of cases
  • Make independent analysis of client situations and make reasoned conclusions as to preferred courses of action
  • Provide necessary services and treatment to clients
  • Prepare case records and reports
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree which included a minimum of twelve semester credit hours in courses such as social work, social welfare, criminal justice, human services, counseling, psychology, sociology, or other related social sciences
  • One and one-half years of progressively responsible professional social work experience which involved utilizing a variety of social work skills and exercising professional judgment in the process of assisting individuals and their families with identifying their problems, evaluating the situation realistically, and considering resources and alternative courses of action pertinent to their needs and circumstances
Working Conditions

This position requires a current and valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle. The selected candidate will be required to undergo a background check and provide proof of a valid driver's license.
