Job Details for Production Associate:

  • Schedule: 6:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday – Friday
  • Pay Rate: $14/hour
  • Overtime: Required; weekly hours range from 48 to 60 hours

Our client is a prominent manufacturer specializing in low and high-density polyethylene products, known for their innovative solutions since 1959. They are dedicated to meeting the evolving demands of their customers with a wide range of recyclable products made in the USA.

Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated and hardworking Production Associates to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our production operations, ensuring that our polyethylene products adhere to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute various manual labor tasks, including heavy lifting
  • Support the extrusion, printing, converting, and recycling operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Work 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime
  • Label materials as instructed
  • Properly store excess materials and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance as necessary
  • Keep work areas tidy and organized
  • Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Supervisor

Job Requirements for Production Associate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand safety guidelines, operating instructions, and work orders
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with calculators and scales
  • PC skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
  • Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Positive attitude, sound judgment, and excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Physical capability to perform various tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
