About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Business Unit Finance team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic business planning and growth initiatives, developing insightful financial models and analytics, and influencing business decisions to drive overall business growth and corporate profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business teams to drive strategic business planning and growth initiatives, ensuring fiscally sound decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analysis to challenge and evaluate business case development and/or decisions
  • Assist in the development and review of monthly and quarterly financial performance, presenting key insights to senior management
  • Support the planning processes, including multi-year strategy planning and annual budget/forecasting
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the broader Finance organization, including fellow LFOs, Insight Centers, Accounting, and other corporate support functions
  • Continuously assess and improve current processes to drive change and manage improvement
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business partnering, commercial finance functions, or FP&A, with a strong background in the financial services industry
  • Ability to articulate complex financial analysis and ideas to influence business and finance partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Hyperion SmartView and/or data analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to establish credibility within business and finance
  • Ability to work under pressure and overcome challenges in a fast-paced delivery landscape
