Position Overview:

This role is focused on providing exceptional technical assistance to users both remotely and onsite. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of client desktop and laptop hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver remote support to users working from various locations.
  • Manage and resolve open tickets efficiently, ensuring clear documentation of actions taken.
  • Prepare and configure equipment, including laptops and mobile devices, for user deployment.
  • Maintain consistent communication with administrative staff regarding user needs and equipment status.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support.
  • A+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
  • Experience with Windows 10 in an Active Directory environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably Service-Now.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of imaging computers using SCCM tools.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS functionalities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
  • Proficient in printer driver installation and configuration.
