Hospice Nurse Specialist

As a Hospice Nurse with Suite Living Hospice Care, you will provide skilled nursing interventions to manage symptoms, pain, and distress for hospice patients during off-hours. Your timely response will ensure the comfort and dignity of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Response:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communicate vital information to daytime staff.
Telephonic Support:
Offer empathetic and knowledgeable guidance to patients, families, and caregivers over the phone, ensuring immediate assistance.
Care Coordination:
Work closely with the hospice team to ensure continuity of care and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and interventions.
Emotional Comfort:
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families facing urgent end-of-life situations.
Medication Management:
Administer medications and treatments as needed, maintaining strict adherence to hospice protocols.
Documentation:
Accurately record patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
Hospice Nurse Qualifications:
RN Licensure:
Active registered nurse license, demonstrating clinical competence and adherence to nursing standards.
Hospice Expertise:
Deep understanding of hospice principles and practices, with a genuine commitment to patient comfort and dignity.
Compassionate Nature:
Innate empathy and a heartfelt dedication to providing comfort to patients and families during challenging times.

Availability:
